I would like to show you some pictures of Namibia. Not too many. It is quite a large country
and the pictures start at the South Africa - Namibia border, which is formed by the Orange River.

The other side of the Orange River is
South Africa. This side is Namibia.

In the foreground the houses of the
workers, the green stretch is grapes,
behind there the river and South Africa.

Same as previous picture.

Sossusvlei with some of the highest
sand-dunes in the world. They reach
heights of 200 to more than 350 m.
They form part of the Namib Desert.

On some dunes one is allowed to go up.

They did not manage to go up.

Definately my favourate place in Namibia. The Mountain Zebra Park in the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

The surrounding area is very dry and here you have this little stream
with very cool water and rock pools.

In the heat, even the baboons like to rest in the shade. It was about 40 degrees Celcius.

There is light at the end of the tunnel in the vegetation in the river.

The few tarred roads are in a good condition
